~ Orange, Maca & Banana Smoothie Recipe * ~

1.5 bananas (some ideally frozen)

Juice of 1x orange

1 dessertspoon (or more) maca root powder

1 dessertspoon chia seeds

1 dessertspoon bee pollen (to sprinkle on at end)

water (or nut milk if you like)

2-4 raw cacao beans to munch whilst drinking

* Goji berries are also great in this smoothie and add that extra Vitamin C boost too.

This is one of our favourite smoothies to make, and it's soooooo easy to whip up :0) It can calm a stressed mind and body, and gives you a nice healthy jolt in the morning if you need it !

We included chia seeds for the first time with some cacao beans on the side for an extra caffeine hit ;0)

All in all, it includes 4 superfoods - bee pollen, chia seeds, raw cacao and maca root ~ with too many awesome properties to fit in this little post.

But in short, it has a good dose of Omega 3 (chia), Vitamin C (orange, mace and chia) and Potassium (banana), whilst the Maca Root will support your adrenals, strengthen your body, feed your brain and calm your nerves to name a few ! Craving strawberry jam and cream this morning I felt inspired to create the something out of this world, that was not only healthy, but delicious too. It turned out to be the most yummy strawberry jam I've ever tasted so I just had to share it !

StRAWberry jam

Prep time : 5 mins

6 strawberries (organic if you can, conventional absorb tons of pest/herbicides)

half a lemon squeezed

8 dates

Chop and process.

Easiest jam ever made ♥

The addition of the lemon will help to preserve the jam a little longer.

The cream I created was made from coconut cream with a little water and honey :0)

and if you wanna get even more creative decorate an empty jam jar with your own home brand (as you can see I had a Living Milk sticker nearby ;))

Eat as is or make a stack ! Frozen bananas, chopped nuts, maple syrup, raw jam and raw cacao powder on top...

This Saturday, April 28th, at 8pm UK time (20:00 Universal Time, 2pm EST, 10am PST) we're going to do an hour long broadcast for the Universal Love Project. Can you feel it ? It's gathering momentum !
